Happy Earth Day!
Happy Earth Day! Are you doing anything special to celebrate Earth Day or have you gone green in an area of your life you'd like to share?
We always plant a tree that doesn't need additional water for Earth Day - today's is a new desert pine. I love watching the trees grow & I know that they're offsetting the carbon footprint we're making.
We switched to compact fluorescent bulbs about 20 years ago (the technology has come a long way) and look forward to buying the new LED bulbs that fit in regular lamps/bulb fittings soon. That was the biggest savings we've gotten from going green.
