Cassie - Salsa day went exhaustingly well (not sure that's a word, but you get the drift) - ended up with 16 pints and 10 quarts of roasted corn/black bean salsa. Still have about 20# 'maters left - if I have some time this weekend, I might make either more (simpler) salsa, or some hot sauce or BBQ sauce.
Thanks, Mike - it's one thing to honor Pearl Harbor Day, as our generation isn't emotionally attached - but 9/11 affected us all significantly.
Quinn!!! Good Lord, girl - cold wet tea bags will get the swelling down, or slices of cucumber. Hope it all clears up soon. And kudos on the painting - you must have the patience of a saint!
K-cano - Welcome to the craziness!
Mern - as with most of what happens with us - this too, shall pass! Soon for you, I hope!

Well was bored last night and ate a bunch of crap I shouldn't while watching tv. Back on board today and will be running tonight so hopefully I haven't done too much damage. Just one of those crappy nights. Happy about the progress I have made so far but still have a ways to go. Hope you all are having a good week and Happy Hump Day!

My bug eyes are a bit better today and I think I'll try Judi's tips as well. Thanks! I always wear makeup but I'm not sure what was scarier, the swollen eyes or me without makeup. lol I never have anything like this!

Aww... that's sweet! You march right down to Sonic and get yourself a Blast!

Judi, glad salsa day was productive. I think Mike will be at your door once he's finished giving blood and going to Sonic.
k-cano, hope you get some relief soon.
Jenn, wishing you a productive session today.
Ann, you'll jump right back on track! Great progress on your goal, girl .
I'm working at home today and just made an executive decision to go out and enjoy the beautiful day for a bit before setting on the reports. The rest of the week is busy, as is the weekend, so it may be my last uninterrupted chance for a while.

I know I'm not the only one struggling, and it shouldn't be an excuse to stay away, but it's just hard some days to take the time to log on. Today is the first day in well over a week that I have even booted up the computer. I need structure, and I know it, but my mind is so completely not in it lately. But Mike made me promise not to give up, so I won't. I may not be here in chattiness, but I'm here in spirit rooting for each of y'all
