Hope ... I love the thought of you joining in an outdoor impromptu yoga class. That sounds peaceful.

Judi ... Love the thesaurus for motivation. Some of those words really would 'motivate' me!

Joanna ... Welcome back! You will lose that vacation weight in no time! Did you have a wonderful time? Any pics to share?

Mike ... You still on vacation? I would have asked that man and his family to move if he got in my way. Politely...of course!

Cassie ... Glad to hear you were active on vacation. Welcome back...we've saved your seat!

Quinn ... You can come stay with us. Since my hubby works outdoors in all this crazy heat we keep the central a/c set on 74 during the day and 72 at night. You can come cool off with us for a week.

I'm in. It's been a tough few days, but hopefully this week will be better. The trolls are off to day camp for the next two weeks so I get 6 hours a day of freedom from them.

I'm not dealing well with the stress. My anxiety is getting bad; my heart's always in my throat, I'm shaking, and I have stress blisters popping up on my hands. I had a pretty bad panic attack on Saturday when the kids' behaviour was humiliating me at a restaurant. Hubby and I have been arguing, but more than that I just can't handle all the fighting and screaming and complaining and tantrums from the kids, never knowing when the next eruption will be. They're just so mean-spirited and hateful.

Same goals as always, with the addition of #6

1) 1600 calories or less
2) move
3) 64oz water +
4) 20% protein
5) vitamins
6) take deep breaths, step away when needed

7) post one good thing that happened every day

April, unfortunately I'm still on vacation.

Rant >>> I think I may cut the vacation short because it seems that my "family" is a bunch of lazy, ungrateful, miserable bitches that love to aggravate each other. I swear the next time I go on vacation I will be alone!

Health / Fitness Goals ...
1. Gallon of water M-F and 100oz S&S
2. Walk on lunch 4 out of 5 days unless raining
3. Exercise before work 3 times minimum
4. 5 fruits & veggies (maybe not servings just 5 different ones)
5. Weigh and post it starting Tuesday

Life Goals ...
1. Laundry
2. Ummmm IDK

I'm having a hard time thinking of Life Goals this week. Maybe because for once I have nothing going on.

This weekend was great as far as exercise goes. Last night though I overdid the sodium. It was chicken parmesan and I didn't over eat but also didn't realize how much sodium there was. It was only 20 calories over my top end of my calorie range. So up 2.something pounds this morning. Hence the gallon of water a day goal. I will get it back off because the weight in my sig (once I go update it here) is from yesterday (sunday) and is an accurate weight. I told my tattoo artist to give me two weeks to get there but I'd love to be there this weekend. I'm really going to try hard this week to get there.

Mike ... That doesn't sound good at all buddy. Maybe a nice wake-up call to them if you drag their butts home early?

Let's go on vacation together and leave our families to be jerks at home!

April, yoga under the trees on the grass feeling a cool breeze on the warm air was wonderful, probably not the best thing for rmy back but wonderful for my spirit. Some of the students said there was a squirrel throwing nuts at them. Commentary on the poses? I wonder.
BTW chicken parm, yum.... why did you do that to me? Ahhh food porn.
And I know you will meet your goals and even surpass them because that is the confidence I have in you.

Nobe, I am so sorry you are getting so stressed. At least the trolls will be gone for a while and hopefully you can enjoy your time without them.

Mike, vacations with family are unfortunately sometimes not vacations. You need a "guy's trip." Or maybe Nobe has a good idea..the "escape from family" getaway...

Hope, I believe it is a half cup unless it is leafy greens; then it is a cup.

Just had to share this with the group. I've overheard my 8 year old grandson using the word "lubs" a few times but didn't know what he was talking about. I went out to the kitchen last night and found him and his 10 year old sister weighing things on my kitchen scale. He told her "16 makes one lub on this scale. In school we count that 16 ounces makes one pound." When I told him lb. means pound and it comes from the word libra which was a measurement in ancient Rome he said, "That's STUPID!"

Judi, I got a good laugh reading what the thesaurus has for motivation. LOL Don't let 'em scare ya--I haven't had to use the whip yet--I just keep it as a threat. But I'm just waiting Mike to slip up really badly and I'll crack...well, never mind...he'll find out in due time.

Joanna, welcome back! A 5 lb. gain on your trip is minimal and I know you'll work that off quickly. Your avatar is lovely, by the way.

Hope I really did nearly kill DH with kindness many years ago when we were first married and he came home drunk after a night out with the guys. I was so worried about him and didn't know where to find him and cried with relief when he came home. Then I catered to his needs (just two regular beers makes him sick to his stomach) until he felt like a real louse. I should be ashamed to admit it, but I'd do it again.

Hmm, Quinn said a squirrel threw acorns at her the other day. Maybe they really do since Hope said they were throwing nuts at yoga students.

Hi, April!

Nobe, aw, I thought DH was going to take the trolls home early. Enjoy those two weeks while they're at camp!

Mike, so sorry your vacation isn't going well.

Kudos to all who are doing well and hugs of encouragement to those who aren't.
