I've enjoyed reading the posts! I'm a 30 year old and i weigh...297 pounds. I have diabetes and I just don't feel good - and I know it's because of the weight. I was the heavy before when I was 23, when I first was diagnosed with diabetes. In the last 7 years - i got down to about 220 (i know still overweight - but i was feeling great about it) - within the last year and half or so I gain it all back and then some.
I've been thinking about doing the gastric bypass surgery - but think "why can't I do it myself?" So I'm going to start again. Today so far all I had was a Special K bar and a banana for breakfast, a plain lettuce salad with light dressing for lunch, and some popcorn for a snack. Supper is my weak spot...and night time snacking!!
