You would be quite fine my dear - the men would get up and tend fire. Men, fire, BBQ, meat. How come my hubby pretends to not know anything about cooking until it comes to standing next to the BBQ, then it is like a genetic code switches on and usually what comes out of it is quite well made!

Pam, that article on sleep was really interesting. Made me feel more normal since I very rarely sleep more than 5 hours of broken sleep per night. But I can function quite well on that. In a past life I must have been the last living member of my tribe, so had to tend the fire all by myself all night long. LOL

Ama, I'm glad I have to eat regularly to keep my blood sugar balanced, so I have an excuse to eat when the ghrelin kicks in and drives me to find food. LOL

Awww Quinnie poo. That's sucks! If I could take away your flu... and give it to someone else I would. The best way to get rid of it is to give it to someone else, obviously your hubby has that part figured out.

I think the only of us who have met in person are that Mike so far has met Amy (Almeeker) and Tori and is about to meet Quinn. All I know for sure is that I never "cyber-met" a "7 Day Motivationer" (are either of those real words? LOL) that I didn't like.

Mike, I'll bet if anyone can pull that bonus out of the fire, YOU can. What a great attitude! Aw, I hope the bike and insurance happens for you. You certainly do deserve some extra special happiness. So that's the new motto for our group: "It takes a winning attitude even when you get your ass kicked..." LOL And we certainly don't want our pimp daddy to be all fat on a bike. Your lunch looks great! Yum! Enjoy the weekend with moderation and a controlled cheat. It's like going on vacation--you can hardly enjoy those special days on a rigid diet. You can start fresh again on Monday. I belonged to two different online diet and exercise support groups before I came here and both had diet and food police that thought everything had to be done THEIR way with no allowances for special occasions or individual differences in dietary needs and tolerances. Stuffy old bats! LOL
Wow, first I call Tori old, not you're calling Quinn old. We're gonna be in trouble now. So who is about to meet quinn? Is she coming to see me?? Thanks for the encouragement. I'm keeping my head up high... and I'll try to be good tomorrow at the reception.

Mike, thanks for the dancing banana space for insertion. LOL I'll accept all the praise I can get, especially for shaving 3 grams of weight off my whey protein/flax muffin to meet my calorie limit. Oops, I DID call her old! Reverse that to say I hope Quinn will soon be back to her YOUNG fiesty self. LOL Maybe I misread. I thought Quinn had said something about coming to NO soon. And golly, you're surely welcome for the encouragement--you pass enough of it around yourself to your ladies here. And we appreciate that. OMG, I laughed so hard at that "I Feel Pretty" video that I spit water TWICE on my computer desk-luckily I missed the keyboard. Jack Nicholson and Adam Sandler are hilarious together.

Goodnight everyone. Wishing y'all a great weekend!

LOL Mern - the lifestyle cookie I'm talking about is The Peek Freans Lifestyle Selections! Thats what its actually called! hehe and KD = Kraft Dinner! I am the KD Queen! I grew up on that stuff! Oh man that made me laugh "Lifestyle porkrhines" hahahhahahaha I think I might just throw the word lifestyle in front of everything from now on!

Does anyone here ever avoid the scale?? I'm hesitant to get on it because I'm afraid it will kill the good mood I've been in this last week... I see that some of you weigh in daily but I don't even want to weigh in at all...ever. Any thoughts...?

Alright I'm off for my lifestyle sleep now! Need my 8hours of beauty sleep to function in the morning!

Love the link.

NOBE ~ Kudos on your water intake. You ought to feel real good about what you're accomplishing.

Amy ~ Ha!HA! I love the expressions that little ones come up with. The little girl you watch sounds like she keeps you quite entertained. I laughed all the way thru your post about her "POP PORN" incident. Adorable.

Mern ~ Sheeeesh lady! I'm 'fraid you're gonna slide right on down in front of me. You're doing great with working your action goals. ~ LOL My kids (and me too) loved the St. Patrick's Card. It's so cute. Thank you.

I got Jho82 listed now. Thanks.

Mai ~ Don't worry about catching up. Especially if your energies need to be focused on your goals. I like to see you coming right back in again.

Jho82 ~ Awesome!!! I like to think that you're giving yourself the gift of increased energy. To help with this weekend, you may want to come around here on the weekend & post specific goals. Whenever I feel especially weak, I post. Keeps my fingers busy & I get support/accountability. Sorry about leaving your name out on the "Eat Clean" Pact. I'm adding it to my goals tonight.

Terri ~ Yup! That red dinosaur emote is how I feel sometimes.--- Well, I hope for your Dad's sake that he'll catch on to the "health" bug. Time will tell.

Ama ~ Thank you! I like to think of my actions as practicing on how to be fit. If you were to look at old posts, you'd see me falling lots of time. These last 2 weeks have been quite a break through for me - a new level. Last December, I just wanted to move more, to remember to drink water & to remember to log in my intake. *~* I'm just so impressed as how you're jumping right in with working hard at your goals & into this thread. It's wonderful to have you on board here.

2) walk for 1 hour, lift weights for 1/2 hour every day except work days (I only work 2-3 days a week), but do it on work days too if I feel like it - no but worked, no but worked, walk 1/2 hr/weights 1/2hr, walk 1 hr/weights 1/2 hr, no but worked
3) eat more protein, get up from 17% - 18% (it's a start!), 21%, 25%, 22%, 27%

Luv - thanks for the nice words!

Anyone I may have missed - sorry, I'm so tired.

Edit: Ok, hurt my numbers a bit...here's the new totals (after toast and peanut butter and two cookies - but I hadn't eaten the chocolate on my log yet so I'm skipping it and removed it)

Luv & Mern, I'm glad I made y'all laugh with that link.

OMG WTH WAS I THINKING???? I got talked into buying a purple shirt for the wedding. I have never worn purple (that I can think of... can't say that about pink after all the great donations). So yesterday I pigged out on cobbler and ice cream. Today I consume a bajilling mg of sodium with the crawfish and I am BLOATED. Can anyone guess what I'm going to look like tomorrow??? I'll give you one hint...
