Kim ~ Awesome! I too would be quite fearful, but wonder how I will feel about things once I'm in better shape.

I know you do lots of hard work to prepare. You're right, we're all here to be better fit - no matter where we are on the journey. Do you care for prayers? I wonder if I missed the date of when you're going down for the 'big one". record. I'm looking forward to reports/video. Here's to cheering you on!

Terri~ Thank you!

Thanks to you all here, I'm motivated today. Saw my mother today. She says that my complexion looks healthier. I attribute that to drinking more water.

Walk & Water goals:
*I walked 4.5 miles, need to do just .5 mile.
*I drank 64 oz water yesterday & have just 16 oz to go today.

I plan to post my full goals later.

The cashier told me it wasn't very fresh, but if I waited they'd put on a pot. Told them it wasn't necessary--just give me what they have. So then they told me it wasn't very hot. Told them it didn't matter, I'd take it. So then they told me it was actually cold. Told them just pour it--I just want coffee, just for something wet and for the flavor. So then my GD left and went out to the car without telling me--because Granny has the elegance of a hobo, I guess. But geez, it wasn't like I was digging for leftover hunks of hamburgers in the trash bin--it was just cold, not real fresh coffee that I paid full price for. That little gal needs to lighten up!
HA! HA! HEEE! HEE!! This is too funny.
I'm waiting for my girls to be totally embarrassed by me. I know the time will come quite soon.

Mike ~ I know my dh would agree with you about bike safety. Including driving safety in general -- it's usually someone who thinks they are invincible or not paying attention or not competent. OR any combination thereof.

Tori, I'm glad you finally GOYLA. Now I need to do the same. The weather is nasty and GF just got in from Florida but I'll finish up my 4 for the weekend.

Kim, I'll say some prayers for you.

Sitting here waiting on the chicken to come out of the oven, flipping through the TV channels and settled on The Lion King. Why is it I tear up everytime Mufasa dies??? I mean, I know it's gonna happen. LOL! Good ole AF!!!

Kim That dive sounds wild. How long will you be going down -- and coming back up? I'm glad there is all that support. Do you do anything to prepare for the pressure -- other than other deep dives? Mary

Took me 45 minutes, did it as soon as I got back from the gym. Can I count that? I did 1.61 miles the other day so 4 this weekend will put me over 5.
So... 30,30,30,60,45?
You got another 45 mins out of me. I'm at 5.86 miles for the week.
sooooo 30,30,30,60,45,45. That's 240 mins. How many was I supposed to do?

Challenge COMPLETE!!! +1

Seeing as how this was the only real goal I've had all week, I'm pretty proud of my all green week! LOL!!!!

Kim - I'll brand May 30 on my mind as the "Kim's Major Diving Expedition".

Completed!

As for the weekly 240 minute goal for exercise, I did 240 minute plus more.

Water 64 oz Sat & Sun each = DONE
Walk (5 mile) = 6 mile.

Well I’m getting really bad at posting. One of my goals is to limit the time spent on the couch to two hours a night, my house hasn’t been this clean in a long time and the three junk drawers are down to 1. I even purged the birthday candle of the number 5. I bought it when my DD turned 5, that was 17 years ago. I kept it as my husband turned 50 5 years ago. Pretty sad. It was amazing what was in there and I know I clean it out regular but have obviously held on to some stuff for sentimental value. Like the dog’s first tooth, she’s 13. Her first hair cut. Her first dog license. Hmm I think I love my dog.

Had a bit of a down day, we visited the in-laws and I was looking for a little support from them as my DH is totally eating so much crap and has high blood pressure. My MIL says he needs not to worry but I should as I am fat. I was so mad. I can’t nag him it’s not going to do any good. Both his parents have high BP so he say’s it’s hereditary. So when I was at the doctors’ I told the DR. I was worried. He said he would talk to him so I am hoping he remembers.

Kimbur – can totally relate to the water weight gain I’m hoping my water weight will stay at the usual 3 pounds tomorrow as it is weigh in day and at least you have an amazing body fat percentage. I too will chime in with only positive thoughts for your dive May 30. That is a spectacular achievement. Thanks for the confirmation on my BP. I work with a lot of women who are pseudo-doctors. They almost had me convinced there was something wrong.

Almeeker, I completely love that you put it all out there for the world to see you successes and struggles each day on your goals. I don’t quite have that courage yet. I am a little frustrated with the profanity goal as I’ve said some really bad words with regard to the MIL. (behind her back of course). And unlike Mern I still haven’t figured the AF yet, but I did get Tori’s GOMLA which had me cracking up..

Mern – good luck with the re-do test. I have one where my potassium keeps coming back high and every time I re-do it it comes back well within the normal limit. Frustrating. The most embarrassing thing I did lately with my DD was I was wearing these stay-ups, pantyhose that come to your thighs only. One fell down and I had elephant leg. Took of my shoe, stepped out of it and just kept walking. She dropped back about 20 paces and wouldn’t even talk to me.

Taubele – I love the statement on awesomeness. So cool to be so positive.

Fit4luv- I love that people post in the good times and the bad. Makes me feel so inspired that when I have a down time I’m not alone and getting back on the journey is important. What I have learned to put in place is not to wait for Monday to start my healthy eating. I had popcorn at the movie theatre today and totally felt bad that I would eat that. However, had a healthy nutritious supper and instead of beating my self up for days it was only hours. I totally get your complexion thing. My sister said I looked younger, pretty big statement coming from my sister.

Mern – thanks for the positive thoughts

Canary – congrats on winning the $40 bucks. DH and I often go to the casino. We each take 20 bucks and I take a book as it takes me about ten minutes to go through that and DH always takes about an hour before he finally loses the 20 bucks or cashes out. Last week he won $700. He doesn’t share. lol.

Mike – thanks for posting your food log, I love Olive Garden and that is pretty reasonable calories for the soup and salad which I love. As for the motorcycle riding, I totally relate. Up in Canada it is not really the weather to ride yet but today I did as it was sunny and the roads were dry. 3 degrees celsius and I wasn’t out for more than three hours but cagers were certainly looking at us if we were nuts. One lady even shivered in her car when she saw us.

Can't think any more. Time to go.

Have a great Monday everyone.
