could be considered that, but you made the comment, so it doesn't count. besides, the comment itself is a random act of hatefulness **feelings a tiny bit hurt**
(but I am getting ready to hit the pavement, it actually relieves some stress and makes me feel better. there's something I never thought I'd say 3 months ago)
Just got back from the groomer's with Jas. She hissed, and spit, and fought. I was so ashamed of her. She's never acted this bad. We weren't 5 minutes from leaving and she had already pulled 4 caps off, so now I get the honor of trying to put them back on a little later. And to top it all off, AF showed up this morning, a few days early. Wasn't expecting her in town til Wednesday at the earliest. yyyaaaaaayyyyy stupid b*t*h.
'K. Food, then asphalt. But gotta walk alone, cousin said she was "too busy" to walk with me tonight. Which is a cop out. It's more that she's "too lazy".

Hey everyone! Had my 2K test for Crew!! I came in with a 2:10 Split time! Whuddup!
Then I ate all the food
But still! Took Steggie on a playdate with PD's "princess" (I call her PD's other girlfriend). That went well & got to nap in the sun! Whoo!
Now to clean everything & cook some beans, rice, & steak for dinner! Delicious

We saw Matt Nathanson.
Today was a good day. I was only able to get in a short walk with the dog because he just wasn't into it, but the app on my phone worked perfectly. We only went 1.63 miles. I do some more on the treadmill as soon as dinner settles. I'm starting to notice some good results. I put on a pair of jeans today, and they are now big enough that I can slide them down over my hips without opening them.
I am feeling good all around, but I really wish I didn't still have a paper to write over the weekend. I really have to focus and get some work done on that tonight. I also have to work on the laundry and hit the grocery store.

Cassie, kudos on compensating for the two kinds of banana bread. Hope you enjoyed driving with the boy and the play with DH.
Tori, I hope you are able to get in all the distance you want to log. Hope Jas enjoys the "kitticure".
Darlene, thanks for the flattery. LOL It's not hard for most people to catch up with me--I'm just having an unusually good week. Kudos to you on keeping calories under 1500 even with the wine with your chicken dinner AND for eating before going to the grocery store to reduce temptation. I did well today only because I had stuff to do that kept me out of the kitchen--so I didn't get breakfast and didn't eat lunch until 2:30. That's certainly not ideal for keeping blood sugar stable, but since I skipped breakfast I was able to enjoy some strawberries in addition to my half avocado.
Pam, enjoy your sunny California day!
Mike, you're welcome for my briefing you on my recent life-happenings. Thanks--even though we weren't worried, we were glad to learn DH is in good heart health. "make groceries"--LOL I've never heard that expression, but, then again, none in my family ever lived south of Ohio--not kidding. I do it, but I dislike snapping beans. I guess because I had to it so much as a kid.
OK--I'll bite. "Pimp daddy you're the one, you make pimpin' so much fun"

Tori, I was totally messing with you. You are doing great. I know you are competitive so I'm gonna keep on your ass.
Mern, thanks for the singing.

aahh, he can dish it but he can't take it???? Dude, I know you're messin with me. if I thought you were serious, you'd know. I do the silent treatment like a PRO! I thrive on competition. It's a shame I can't play ball anymore. THAT'S when I was happiest. With the smells of dirt and sweat and grass.
Jas is still mad at me and she keeps trying to pull all the caps off. She just gave me the evil eye!

Mike Enjoy your snap beans I love them with bacon and garlic. Pimp daddy…I’d like a whole pond of you….
Kay My dd likes him also how awesome that you went to a concert with your dd. Good to hear you are seeing results, your jeans will be falling off in no time.
Mern Enjoy your strawberries I chuckled when you said that I just bought a container at the store they looked good, I hope they taste good.
Tori Enjoy your walk sorry your walking partner bailed on you.
I just had a huge plate of salad with eggs and chicken and now I don’t want to walk on the treadmill I thought about taking the dog out but it’s supposed to snow and its freezing out their.

Mike, I hate singing alone.
Darlene, I'm fortunate to be able to exercise in the morning but I have to wait to eat breakfast AFTER I do the treadmill because if I eat first, I feel weighted down. They say we should eat protein 25 minutes befoe exercise to increase our stamina, but it doesn't seem to make any difference for me--maybe because I walk only two miles, though. I hope your strawberries are as yummy as mine--mine aren't very big, but are sweet and juicy. Keep warm!
Tori, wanna borrow my whip to keep Mike at bay? LOL
