7 Day Motivational Thread Starting 8/1

I was able to teach Mytsie how to walk. I got it on camera and I'm uploading it to YouTube now, so it's official. I'll post it in off topic in the "pets" thread.
That's some good miles, but you've been warned. I've got my back up and Mytsie will be taking up my slack!

Usually, I do a lot of different routes and trails, but this week I've stuck to the same one, over and over. Walked early this morning because it was supposed to rain, but never did, so I might take a short one tonight if the weather holds up.
Ate a huge, whole wheat bagel gobbed with peanut butter for my supper so a walk might be necessary... lol.

2) 3000 calories deficient for the week: -774, -888, -1150, +764, -1031, -319 (3398 so far)
3) Weigh in on Monday and post a picture of the scale, myself & my weight goal chart: yes
4) Make my food log public: yes 01gt4.6 - free online diet and fitness journal
5) walk/run 10 miles (or more if Quinn does more): 3.75, 0, 2, 0, 2.69, 2.49 (10.93 so far)
6) gallon of water a day: yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes
7) work out 3 times: no, yes, no, no, yes, no
9) daily:
fish oil x 2 yes, yes (doctor says no more )
vitamin yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes
floss yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes
10) no more than 2 servings of nuts per day (including peanut butter): yes(2), yes (2), yes (1), no (~6), yes (2), yes (2)
11) 5 servings of veggies a day (green veggies don't get logged): yes(5), yes(5), no (2), no (3), no (4), yes

Mike, that is a lot of nuts! I will check the Mytsie video!
Mern, I can rationalize my way into and out of everything. But donuts are not really my temptation Still failed at that goal today again. You had me laughing with the one quart bra!

Eating too much this weekend Will improve today once the kids leave. The salt content has been worse than the calorie count although I still need to journal for yesterday. Not taking time to post calories was part of the problem. I always find that a good control. Mary
P.S. I now entered yesterdays calories. It was an eye opener! A day of unplanned eating with some regard to calories and I easily consumed over 3500 calories. That's with limiting the amount of steak and treats! No wonder I regain when I don't keep track. Back on the wagon today. I guess it will be a protein shake for me for breakfast.

Hey guys,
Hope you are all having a good weekend. Was able to keep my diet in check at my dad's b-day party last night...only had one glass of wine and portion sizes of all the food there. If you know how my mom cooks, you will understand how hard that is! But I am off to go run tonight so I hit my goal of running 4 times this week. Made all my food already for the next week so I am ready to go. Let's hope I see the scale move another two pounds at the end of this coming week! Ann
