I have decided to join this thread, I think you have a really nice group going on here and I need the motivation and accountability. I want to lose around 20 pounds from my current weight (I have lost 16 pounds since the beginning of the year) and mostly I need to start doing some exercise and attempt to get my life "in order".
So my goals for the week are:
1. Exercise 6 days
2. Keep calories under 1200
3. Drink 3 liters of water
4. Clean my inbox
5. Clean the closet
Let's see how it turns out. Have a great week all and I saw a happy birthday is in order, so HB Mike!

Anyone out there who can kick my butt out the door to get exercising. The sun is shining but I`m using a headache to avoid getting out there. Hopefully tea and Motrin will kick in and do the job for me.

Since it`s your birthday I will listen to you. LOL Have a Great Birthday. I`ll go see if a bike ride helps a headache. I`ve heard exercise does. Rarely get them these days. Mary

Today was rather rough. I had Mr. Screamy Pants ALL DAY, and when he wasn't screaming he was barfing, and when he wasn't barfing he was pooping, and when he wasn't pooping, he was screaming. OY!!! I also had an extra child for an hour and a half, she's sweet but very very messy (toy box dumper) and everything she says sounds like "ack ack" to me. But I did not eat my stress, I used that excess energy to clean the house and get some things organized and goof around with my new phone (directions be damned!). Very productive day, hopefully tomorrow will be even better.
I'm on the verge of making a new goal date, but I hate to work towards an event. I really want this to be a life style change, not a change until mm/dd/yyyy, cause then what? But today I realized that both my class reunion and a family wedding will both fall in August, and I really want to be at goal by then. And that extra bit of motivation is putting me at the point of deciding that I need to lower my calorie budget in order to make it. But oh man oh man I hate to lower that number, it's already a struggle and to make it worse, well I don't know how realistic that is for me. But I'm going to give it a go maybe next week. This week I'm going to focus on making my current goals, both fitness and otherwise and think about that new direction.
