Default Fasting buddies anyone? New here starting a 30 day fast!

I am fasting for a week a water fast amd I need a buddy to help me pull though it..im trully trying to fast for 30 to 50 days just in time for my bday...im starting my fast today on water and some juice in the middle of the fasting...

Please let me know if we can be buddies..

Sweetie, this is not a healthy way to lose the weght. There are plenty of us who are losing/have lost in healty ways - fasting on water is bad for your body, your brain, your energy and mood, and will wreck your metabolism. You can lose the weight - just do it in a healthy way! Contact those of us who have lost for help!

please rethink this decision. fasting in general is not particularly safe, and doing a water fast for more than 3-5 days is not possible. If you want to kick start a new phase of a diet, try a week long cleanse of just raw or fresh foods. Not eating is not a safe or healthy way to lose weight. as said above, there are plenty of people who have seen results who would love to share some good, healthy tips with you.

I agree that fasting to lose weight probably isn't the best idea in the world.

However, to say that a water fast lasting more that five days is impossible is simply inaccurate. Many people have fasted for much longer. I've personally done 30 days with zero calories twice and one to three weeks more often.

As I mentioned in fastingwomens other thread, I would recommend fasting of any type only be done under a doctor's supervision.

And, for the record, I think maintaining a reasonable calorie deficit combined with moderate exercise and lots of water is a much better way to go.
