Hi ladies! I'm joining this group just to feel accountable. This week I will:

1) Keep my calorie limit and if I go over - go to the gym and burn it off.
2) No cheese other then cottage

Doesn't sound like much, I know, but I completely fell off the wagon and have been eating terrible food and not working out.

I don't know about the rest of you, but I need this really badly.

1. Exercise M-Sat, 1 hour minimum - NO EXCUSES
2. 96 oz of water
3. Limit calories, zig-zag maybe with an absolute cap at 1,500!!!
4. Average 6 things/day from the list of things that must be done.
5. Get my kids laughing at least 3 times/day.
6. Take stuff to Goodwill
7. Get info on elliptical parts and get that mother (me) up and running again.
8. Sign up for 10K in May.

I just want to thank you all for being here. Just the presence of others helps.

I think it sounds reasonable to lose a pound since Saturday to the person who asked. I don't know what others say. I lost two pounds in two days because it was letting myself go weight and when I got back on track, it dropped. So many things influence weight loss too: water weight, activity, sodium intake, your cycle, etc.

Also I think it is totally legit and necessary in some cases to list non diet and exercise goals. These things can even affect our diet and fitness. For example, when I am not writing, I am most often eating. But even if there are no ties, why not have other goals (if you like)?

Anyway not only am I glad I'm here I'm glad you guys are too. This really does help me! I hope it helps others too!

I completely agree on the non diet and exercise goals. I'm right now in the midst of my yearly shovel out. I feel like cleaning and organizing is beneficial to my state of mind.

I'm glad you're here too, it helps me as well.

I had a very calorie heavy fall from grace this past weekend, and I've made myself come here and confess, in hopes that it won't happen again anytime soon.

Ditto to every last word of almeeker's response (including the fall-from-grace part ).

Grateful for all of you; let's make this a strong week!

We're all here for each other. We will dig ourselves out!!! Sometimes when we fall we need a hand getting back up. Knowing you guys are there has made me a little more aware in the eating today.

Thumbs up First full week

Motivational Points

1. Stop fearing posting on this forum (new to forums)
2. Go to the gym four times
3. Extra long walks with my beautiful little Border Terrier
4. Cut back on the carb intake
5. Limit myself to four glasses of wine for the week

I am so happy to have found FitDay - I find it really inspiring. Hope the week goes well for everyone.

Welcome hilili. I know I was nervous about posting at first but people are the forums are really supportive.

Good goals, everyone! Good luck! I was proud that I did floor exercises for my back and legs despite a fibro flare! Yay me!

2. Exercise 45 minutes minimum for at least 4 days
3. 72 ounces of water each day
4. 5 servings of frts/veg's per day
