Hey ladies you are all doing really well. Keep up the good work. I had a bad day on Tuesday with diet, i just went into munching mode. Didnt go too much over and i equaled it out yesrerday by just eating veggies so hopefully i be okay for weigh in next tuesday. Still got 4 days left to be extra good.
Im back on track now and today ive had a small bowl of porridge (half water/half skimmed milk), weightwatchers ready meal and veg with a scoop of mashed potato. I did have a treat but it was 1 small square of chocolate and 1 small cookie. Loads of water and 6 cups of coffee!!!! Shriek-ive gotta wean myself off it although it is decaff.
I didnt lose last week but happy i didnt gain (time of month) so i want a good loss at my next weigh in.

I am new to FitDay but I am so in for this. Need as much support as I can. I am currently doing the Ideal Protein diet. Other than my weekend cheating !

Start date: 8/16/10
Start weight: 178lbs
Today's date: 9/30/10
Today's weight: 162lbs
Weight Goal: 135lbs
27lbs more to go

Welcome Gilber-dont worry about the bad weekend,put it behind you and start again now. We all have days when we go wrong-myself included but its putting yourself back on track thats the main thing. Everyone here at fitday will support you through the good and the bad!! Im not familiar with the Ideal Protein diet. Good Luck and keep us all updated on your progress.

Its 12 weigh ins til xmas and if i lose 2lbs a week i will be 3lbs off goal by the time we get to xmas week!!! Thats keeping me motivated and i really hop i can do it. Since going back to weightwatchers ive got the willpower again. I dont want to pay money for nothing!!
So far so good this week apart from the bad day on Tuesday but im picked it up again and have done really well since then. Even though ive been dieting for nearly 2 years im still learning new things and knowing how to manage my diet into my lifestyle. I have made myself eat a breakfast so that i dont snack as much on an evening and it seems to be working so im keeping it up. Its been 30g porridge oats with skimmed milk and water last two mornings and i look forward to it now. Also it keeps me feeling fulll and eating regularly is stopping me being over hungry at teatime so i can have a smaller portion.

Not a great result this week, but I did go over my calories on Tuesday. I did well until I got home in the evening and pigged out on fresh bread while making dinner. Did a killer workout from my Shape magazine Wednesday, there was only one excercise I couldn't do that I need to work up to. Yahoo!! I was very happy even though I was sore yesterday. Back to it today.

Dumb question - Is the loss in bracket our loss for the week or total loss? I put in my loss for the week but wanted to see how everyone else would like to track that. Please forgive my ignorance on this.

I had a great week exercise-wise, I've gotten in at least an hour M-F and I was really pushing myself for most of it. Calories have been a completely different issue, I've been over a couple of days by a little, but my pie chart has been very carb heavy. I also didn't get my water in last weekend and have been somewhat irregular since. AF is also on her way, so I'm just going to keep up the workouts and the healthy foods and hope for a solid reward on the scales next week or the week after. Oh and I've also added a few names.

I'm using the brackets for my overall loss, so I can know how far I've gotten on my 30 pounds by Christmas challenge.

Hi Everyone!

I was recently on a long vacation (just over 3 weeks) in Italy, the eating capitol of the world. I gained 5 pounds!! I have been struggling since I got back, almost a week now. Instead of getting right back on my program, I wallowed in self-pity and beat myself up for days at having gained weight. I think I am coming out of that now. Yesterday I had a very good day, eating and exercise-wise so I feel confident that I am back on track and will try to forgive myself asap.

I would love to jump in to this challenge! Obviously I can't lose 30 pounds by Christmas because of my late start but heck I would be happy with 15! Or dare I dream 20?
