I only lost a 1/2lb this week. But...at least it's better than gaining.
Here are my goals for the coming week:

1) Go to exercise classes Monday, Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday.
2) Eat below 1800 calories per day (hopefully much lower, but that number gives me a bit more options for next weekend).
3) Get up and walk away from my desk at work as much as possible.

Good morning all,

I didn't do to bad last week. I'm really sticking to the Atkins induction phase, using the Alli and speedwalking everymorning with an 80 lb white german shepard. I tried doing some running spurts with him but he thought it was a game and kept trying to knock me over. We'll have to work on that part.

Anyway, weight this morning was 130. I'm pretty happy and surprised with that considering two days at my daughters laying in the pool and drinking and eating.

My goals for this week
1.Keep walking with dog and then go back out and sprint up and down my driveway. It's a 1/4 mile down and back.
2.Stay on the induction for the week.
3.drink MORE water!
4.drink LESS vodka!
5.When I'm bored, go do something productive and DON'T go shopping!
6.Keep working on the meditation, Make the time(instead of shopping)
7.keep calories 1000 or under

So I am thinking this week was a sluggish start. And now we can all look at this and kick our butts into gear! Personally I am going to be consuming less alcohol and less calories in general. But this is all a step in the right direction. My new goal is to lose 3 lbs by next Monday.

And dont push yourself g_j_b! Heal first.

Hey guys. I had a 3 pound drop this week but it was a big struggle. I would go from one day of being lazy and eating almost 2,000 + calories to the next to days have calorie deficits of up to 2,000. Hopefully I can stop the zig-zag-iness and get consistent.

I'm just gonna say one giant CONGRATULATIONS to Jemmott, Hetemte, Almeeker, and Kristyn.
and don't worry about it g_j_b. We all have those weeks, but never give up!

Uhh....I was sooooo terrible last week! Okay not terrible, but I wasn't good! I stayed at the same weight, which is a billion times better than gaining, but I didn't lose anything either so I am not feeling so great.

I was away for most of the week in Omaha, and we had a jam-packed schedule so I couldn't get any exercise in! I did try though to make decent food choices while I was away so that I wouldn't blow up like a balloon!

Anywho, I'm not setting exact goals, I just am hoping to do BETTER this week and to get in some exercise and hopefully see an improvement!

Hi, mind if I join. I seem to "join" alot of things around here but I never remember. but the fact that this is 8 weeks gives me a limit and I think makes me more liable to actually record my weight..
Anyway, I'm 5'7 or 5'8 and I started at 173 lb...now I am about 160. I have been this weight for about 4 months and my ULTIMATE goal weight is to be 130.
That's just a bit about me.

SO I did about the same this week up .2 ounces I know it is because I retaing water easily and the less I drink the more i retain and I drank almost nothing yesterday

Last weeks goals and accomplishments.

1. 5 hours of cardio (either on the elliptical or aerobics DVD) HALF CHECK, I only got in about 3 hours and 15 minutes. We visited my in-laws in the middle of the week and during all that I popped my knee out, as luck would have it I popped out the GOOD knee - go figure.
2. 3 miles of running or 5 miles of speed walking. HALF CHECK, I only walked about 3 miles, again the popped knee slowed me down quite a bit
2. 2 hours of weight training (cause I paid for that dang membership) HALF CHECK, Only got in 1 hour and 15 minutes, missed my second workout because we were out of town.
3. 6 hours gardening CHECK
4. Keep calories to 1,500 M-F, no more than 1,800 SS, NO CHECK, Calorie average for the week 1886.
5. Drink 96 ounces of water (or more) each day CHECK
6. Spend 15 minutes cleaning each room in the house while wearing ankle weights. HALF CHECK, Only got about half of it done.
7. Lose 3 pounds. NO CHECK, I was down 2.5 pounds yesterday, but ate like crazy all day long!
