Omega 3 Fish oil rec's please
 

Where do you buy your fish oil supplements? does anyone have a link to the best price as I lost my job and last month DH lost his job! but I am determined to lose weight and read that this supplement will help.

Umm, as to whether it will help you lose weight in any negligible way, I would question. But it is good because they do things for the body and if incorporated into a low fat diet, they will provide the fat needed for helping with digestion. They are good for raising good cholesterol and lowering bad cholesterol and other things. I personally don't believe the hyped omegas. You can purchase it at any main grocer in the vitamin aisle sometimes. Drugstores probably carry it and the Discount Vitamin stores definitely do have it. Also, I take flax seed oil which contins omega 3 for other health reasons. Look around for yourself before you buy, but don't purchase it because you think it will help you lose weight. Some diets require that you add it if you are not geting enough through cooking. I am glad I saw your post, though, because I couldn't figure out why my skin was getting so dry, well I don't use any oil, butter, etc. I am going to have to take a T of vegetable oil right along with my T of flaxseed, I guess. Also, remember that eating fatty fish three times a week, like salmon, will satisfy the omega 3 requirement. I try to, but I still take it anyway.

Remember no more than 30% of your diet should come from fats. That includes the fat that can't be trimmed from meats.
