Skinny guy- gain weight
I know I may not have the same problem as some people here but I've been a really skinny guy my whole life and looking to change that. I'm going to start by doing small weight training and cardio daily and monitor my calorie intake/eat well balanced meals. Looking for a couple of other guys in a similar situation to motivate and track one another's progress. This website is more designed with weight loss in mind (you cannot set a 'weight goal' higher than your original weight).

Although it has been requested many times the ability to set a weight GAIN goal has never materialized on Fitday. Use cardio sparingly to maintain or gain aerobic conditioning but be aware that too much will sabotage muscle gains from your weight lifting. Make sure you are getting enough protein to support your muscle gains. .75 to 1.0 grams per pound of lean body weight should be adequate. This is very important as protein is the only nutrient that the body can use to build muscle. Protein, Carbs and Fats can all be used as energy but only protein has the chemical building blocks neccesary for muscle building. You might want to check out Bodybuilding.com (free site and where I heard of Fitday) and setting up a profile there. They will let you set a weight gain goal.
