Smile my first little success!!!!

i just wanted to write to everyone because i am so proud of myself for 100% sticking to my diet over the last month... (it has been exactly a month since i started). so the last time i weighed in was on day 10, where i had already lost 6 pounds! i am so excited to weigh in at the end of this month....should be in the next few days, but it feels amazing because i just FEEL lighter. it's really sad but this is the longest i have been able to stick to a diet, so for me this is major. i hope to reach my mini-goal weight in 2/3 months, and i feel like i am well on my way!

Start date: Jan. 23, 2013 - 194 lbs.
Goal date 1: May 1, 2013 - 160 lbs.
Goal date 2: July 8, 2013 - 150 lbs.
Height: 5 feet 6.5 inches

Current weight: 171.5 lbs. (down 22.5 lbs.)
(Weigh in on Day 67)

Congrats! I started in December and I am finding daily logging to help me stay honest is really working.

Congratulations, mtr! IMO, sticking to your eating plan is a HUGE accomplishment regardless of how many pounds you've lost this month. The weight will come off eventually, but really developing a solid eating plan into a habit that's second nature is what's really important.

yes you are absolutely right! i weighed in yesterday and lost 12 pounds in my first month... i am sure a decent amount of that is water weight but i am thrilled!
