Congrats on your success so far. Keep going until you feel comfortable. Your body may stop losing on it's own once it hit a certain point.

Well, I've shrunk to about 5'8" (I KNOW I used to be 5'9/5'10) and I plan to see what 165 feels like. I feel pretty good right now at around 190. I've not been under 175 since grade school and I'm 47 now. I guess I'd shoot for 165 and see how you look/feel. That is on the high end of the "healthy" range for our height.

Regards,
Michael

I've been wondering the same thing lately. But like Mike said, keep going until you feel comfortable or your body tells you it's time to stop. You WILL plateau at some point. Just make sure you keep eating healthy.

I think that you should stop when you feel like your at your weight goal. Stop when you feel really good about yourself but dont get carried away lol.

You have done fantastic! I am around the same place as you... a little chubby around the middle, 3 pounds from "normal"... I think some of that chub is skin.... sadface. I am shooting for 5 pounds below normal high, then see how it goes. Coming off very slow anyway at this point... Good luck! Hopefully you will know when it is time to stop.

by the way, I have lost 86 pounds so far...

I've found that this calculator has given me a good perspective on "when to stop" as it indicates "ideal weight":

Ideal Weight Calculator

To start using it, click the dark blue box first (and you may have to register for iGoogle, I don't remember).

Would going 5 to 10 pounds under that weight put you in any kind of danger?
