Yes it is awesome and it works with any diet program.
I love the accuracy. In my head, I thought I was eating about 1500 cals per day. But when I logged it in fitday I was eating over 2200 cals per day!!!.
Too much to lose weight

The FitDay articles are a great resource as well! Been searching them and they cover everything! They are short, to the point, and very educational.
