Red face Thank You FitDay

After too long of being unhappy about my energy levels, and my body, I started eating healthy. It was very natural, and just happened for me because I was ready. In an effort to track my progress, I found FitDay. I'm proud to say FitDay was what kept me on track. Through summer vacations and parties and cookouts, I still have managed to stay on track.

I started on July 19th, three weeks ago, and I have lost 8 lbs already. My overall goal is 20 lbs, so I am nearly half way there!

One added bonus is that by tracking my intake through FitDay, I realized that my nightly drinking was one of the main causes of my lethargy and unhappiness in my life. So I've kicked that habit too.

Thanks FitDay, as well as everyone whose stories have provided and still provide inspiration to me on a daily basis.

eliroyale, congrats! How did you manage to lose 10 lb in less than 10 days? I looked at your log and you ate an average of perhaps 1500 cal/day, right? That's a lot of weight lost! Give us some tips =))

Lightbulb Thanks, Fitday! 120 pounds GONE

I started at 260 lb. in June 2009, and this morning I weighed in at 140 lb.
Verrrrry grateful. It took a major mind shift but "nothing is difficult that is <wholly> desired".

Love, light, peace and joy to all!

IT REALLY DOES WORK! Thanks for the motivation to know that in a year I too might have lost so much weight! You rocked it. What was your motivation? What is your advice? Tell me, tell me....LOL Carren

Lightbulb Not "in love" with food anymore, thank you God!

I used info from "The Zone" and "Eat To Live" and decided on around 900 calories of optimum nutrition per day. Just started maintaining recently, on 1000 calories/day. I'll be 58 next month and I'm 5'7".
