20 mins cutting the grass today. Going to be another hot week so I'm glad I'm almost finished!! A small section left in the back.
Up to 3 glasses of water already! Hopefully I will be down some weight tomorrow!! Fingers crossed.
Looks like everyone is doing really well.
Jenn

Where is everybody? Wow, quieter than ever. It's a beautiful hot day today and that will continue. Have 8 miles in walking this week.
Hey Jenn way to go and hopefully they will talk to you about your tests. My experience is that they need you to go in the office to get that medicare billing!

Your dignity? ... and you have ~that~ as an avatar?
I picked the title because that was what I was thinking before I noticed a new thread had not been started.
It took me months to come to grips with the idea of losing weight, nearly a year to lose it, now another year in remissi.., I mean maintenance.

2. Under 12000 calories for the week - PASS
3. Under 280g fat for the week - A little over
4. Over 21 fruit/veg for the week - A little under

water: Y, Y, Y, Y, N, Y,
exercise: Y, Y, Y, Y, N, Y,
The next few days are going to be very hot and we have no air conditioning. I have my work outs planed for the treadmill in the basement where it is cooler. I don't eat as much when it's hot but will be drinking lots of water. So far in July I feel as if I am just wasting time and I need to get down to business. I need a quick start to get back into the game.

checking back in
Sorry I haven't checked in for a couple of days. Been crazy here.
Friday I walked 3 miles (walk away the pounds with 2lb weights)
Yesterday I got brave and did the walk away the pounds 4 mile dvd. I finished but I made a huge mistake and didn't have any protein after my walk. I was exhausted and sore all day.
Today I walked the 3 mile walk again with the 2 lb hand weights but, I added my weighted vest with 3 additional pounds of weight. I'm drinking my protein shake now.
I don't know if any of you do shakes but, I do. I love my shakes. Being a type II diabetic, finding a protein shake that doesn't have too many carbs can be tough. I FOUND ONE. It's called About Time. They have several flavors, they taste great and they are very moderately priced. I get mine at GNC but you can order them online too. They have a very supportive customer service staff and lots and lots of recipes on the site.
I need to find someone to help me take my measurements. My husband won't help and I know I can't get accurate measurements by myself. boo
Have a wonderful day!!!!
