Six Weeks Goal...30 pounds fat loss, keep muscle mass
Hello everyone.
I am currently weigh 200 pounds and 41 years old.
Eight years ago I weighed 270.
Discovered running and eating clean.
Dropped lots of fat and muscle.
Ran half marathon 2010 at 39 years old and ran muscle down to 12 inch arms and 175 pounds.
Lifted from Oct 2010 to present day.
Now at 15 inch arms and two hundred pounds roughly 20% fat
I am spending next six weeks getting rid of much fat and little muscle as possible...
Anyone with similar goals?

Another guy's viewpoint
Congrats on your weight loss - keep up the good work!
I've been using Fitday for years and like to use it to help me manage my weight. I'm 61, 6'2", 245 lbs and healthy active guy who wants to lose belly fat and drop 50 lbs next year. About a year ago I was around 270, and I've held steady for the past 6 months. Just started nutritional counseling w/ my new BCBS health policy, and I plan to take advantage of their free Wellness programs. Good luck!

I was 6'3 315lbs 55in Waist..
I have a plan I have been following since November..
I am still 6'3 but 292 lbs.. BUT.. 48 in Waist
My chest measurements.. slightly up
Arms.. up
No change in the other measurements (but.. fat is gone.. and muscle has remained, or come back healthy..
Wife notices a huge diff.. A few years ago.. I did an really bad low carb diet... got down to 267.. but still had a 52 in waist.......... so... I didnt lose fat.. just muscle...
For me.. measurements tell the tell.. not the scale........ (and clothes are a great indication)..

Constant progress... health is great feeling.. progress is just slow (but.. it is working so I will not jump the track for any "quick fix" or magic... )
