Motivating exercise music
What are your favorite workout songs with motivating lyrics?
I always need music on while I exercise so I can have a distraction. I have recently made a playlist that has songs with lyrics that will keep me motivated while exercising. This playlist is great for when I am doing exercises that are harder for myself (like I recently added jogging in 2-5 minute intervals to my walking).
Here are some of my favorites motivational exercise songs.
Suddenly I See- KT Tunstall
Stronger- Kelly Clarkson
I am Woman- Jordin Sparks
Keep Your Head Up- Andy Grammar
Firework- Katy Perry
Bad- Michael Jackson
I Gotta Feeling- Black Eyed Peas
Do What You Want- OK Go
Move This- Technotronic
Waka Waka- Shakira
You Don't Have to Believe Me- Eric Hutchinson
Never Let You Down-Verve Pipe
The Middle- Jimmy Eat World
I'm On My Way- Proclaimers
It's funny because some of these songs I wouldn't really listen to just for fun, but they work in this context. The songs that are a bit slower are good for warm up, cool down and going slower when doing intervals.
Anyway, I am always looking for more music ideas and thought that sharing might help others too.
