I don't think you should ever have to sit there and feel hungry like that where it's hurting you. There's no reason you couldn't have made yourself something to take the edge off, like some vegetables. Are you saying a few celery sticks, some carrots, or a few handfuls of lettuce or a couple of tomatoes would have ruined your calorie budget?

That is so great!!! You know, there are many organizations you can crochet for and make your efforts double! 1: you are doing good for others, 2: in turn it is doing good for you! A few are: to crochet little baby afghans or teeny tiny caps and sock-lets for the neonatal ward of your local hospital. You can crochet for maternity homes, little layettes for their new babies, Homeless shelters, some fire and rescue agencies need blankets for folks who have to leave their homes suddenly. All kinds of places!
