You know you're slow when...
your 76 year old mother and her friends lap you on the track. I just spent 2 weeks on vacation with my mom and we walked every day. Some days we walked twice. She wore me out and it was great and when I walked by myself this morning I found myself actually moving faster and I think I even jogged a little. I say I think I jogged because I'm not sure I would really recognize a jog after so many years of not experiencing it.
Life is good. I've been tracking on FitDay for 90 days as of tomorrow. I'm down from 355 lbs to 285 lbs. My family and I are completing a 5K in October for Multiple Myeloma Research and my Dr. thinks I'm a super hero. I view this as success.
I really get a lift out of reading the posts on this site and don't believe I would have enjoyed the same level of success without you.

Awesome job! Isn't it incredible how quickly our bodies can respond if we just give them half a chance. I've said it before, a good plan, FitDay to help implement it, and a healthy dose of commitment makes weight loss about as easy as it can get. Keep it up!
