Default Calories burned...help please?

Hello all, it's my first day to this site, and it seems like it really has a lot to offer! I'm starting by logging my food, and now wanted to log my exercise. I'm wondering if there is a reference for how many calories the average person burned during various workout DVDs? For example; P90X, Turbo Jam, The Firm, etc. Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

Welcome to FitDay and the forums!

I don't think there is an "average" number anyone could give you. Calorie burn is dependent upon so many variables such as sex, muscle mass, age, weight, type of exercise, intensity of the workout, etc.

I think I would look through the exercises offered in Activities and just pick the one closest to the video you are doing (probably one of the cardio choices) and choose the appropriate time and intensity level. If you're doing weights, choose one of the weight lifting options.
