Default Tracking exercise w FitDay

I just bought FitDay Premium after looking for some explanations of what it included. It says that I can track anything I want to.

I work out on an unusual ellipse machine allows more variable movement and more variable resistance than the usual ellipse, and it gives me readouts of calories burned (usually around 560 calories in a one hour workout).

I expected to be able to define my physical activities the way I do my food, i.e., to create an activity 'Unusual Ellipse Machine' and to input my minutes and calories. But I can't. It doesn't appear that I can do anything more with defining my physical activity than I could before, thus I am condemned to use the preset 'ski machine' or 'health club exercise, general'.

Am I missing something?

Default Fitness tracking

Feralroms, I've always read that gym machines way over calculate calories burned in one hour. I wonder if Fit Day realizes this and that's why it won't let you adjust for different machines, etc.

Default elliptical

i can't find a way either. I love the elliptical, 3.1 miles in 30 minutes. How does that fit into one of the categories.
