Default Can These Figures Be Correct?

First, allow me to apologize, because I am sure that many of you have answered or seen this question before, but something in my weight stats seems "off" to me, kids. Maybe someone can help me?

1. My BMI when I began one month ago was 37.1

2. Beginning weight was 263 and

3. Goal weight is 200.

4. The program figures me at 3,458 as calories I burn, Cal Restriction 1100 and cals I can eat, are 2358.

I am using that 2nd equation so that means I am obese. Right now, I lead a sedentary lifestyle, doing light housework, watching TV late at night about 6 hours, and then I sleep for about 3-4 hours.

My question is: why are my calories burned so high? I am having no probs at all eating about 1800 cals a day and keep up religiously with what I put into my mouth.

Can someone please take a look at this and tell me what I may be doing wrong?

Thanks in advance!

Bill

When you set up your weight goal, what was your target date for losing the weight?

Thanks, everyone!

Something's off because when I set my starting date and ending date and goal weight, etc., with sedentary lifestyle, I'm not getting calorie limits that are that high.

Are you setting numbers (goal, etc.) in the weight log?

Suggestion: go to your profile and adjust your activity level. 'Sedentary' has a few variations. One is 'sedentary.' Another is 'mostly seated/ some movement.' When I use the edit button and change to 'mostly seated/ some movement,' the calories for my activity level are more what you would expect.

'Sedentary' must mean a person who has restricted movement, I'm guessing.
