This morning I stopped myself from going into the community kitchen area at work. Someone came by and announced that there were mini "pigs in blankets" put out for everyone. These things are delicious. I think in Texas we call them "Kolache". Anyway...all my coworkers marched into the kitchen to snack, and I stayed in my office. I told myself... "I've already eaten my breakfast".... but man was I tempted.

Well done. I think it is those times we resist temptation that go a major way to weight loss or maintenance. I was rewarded for all my work today when I tried on some golf clothes I have not been able to wear the past two summers. They look good - and will look even better when another 5 pounds goes.

Mary that's an excellent NSV (non-scale victory)!!! I'm sure that must have made you feel so motivated and accomplished! Great job!

Reminded myself today that I wanted to stick to a once-weekly day of liquids only. Soups, etc. It's a Deepak Chopra idea that I like. For some reason, it slipped my mind the last few weeks. Time to resume the habit.

I talked myself out of the voice that was telling me to give up over the next two weeks because I start holidays then and I've been off track for a few days so why get back on before that. I think I have killed off that voice and replaced it with a - 2 weeks spent working on fitness will pay off on holidays. Now to reward myself with chocolate - just kidding.

I had an all-liquids day again. It's not the same day every week, and I almost forget to do it. It's never well-planned. But I'm getting better at doing this once a week.

I've been keeping up my one-day-a-week liquid diet day. Yesterday was that day!

We miss you Mary! Can't wait to hear about your holiday!

Today I am back on track to where I was a few months ago. I have allergies but I am going to work out anyway.

Back from 8 days in Paris with a slight weight LOSS! I hope there is some airplane gain so my loss may be even more. Great holiday but happy to be home. Motivated to lose more as high school reunion in 4 weeks. 50 years since graduation!.

The accomplishment journal should provide all timing detail and consumption per hour.
