Pam, sounds like it’s good to be back!
Liquid Lizard – I would love a work gym, but even if I had one, I’m sure I’d find excuses – keep that elipitical moving!
For me it was kettlebell class today – pretty challenging!

I'm back!!!
Hey guys I'm back. I really have no real excuse for what I've been doing. I haven't been eating healthy ,AT ALL!!, I gained 4 lb., BUT I have been exercising some.
Today: I did Zumba for 15 min. and am planning on doing some intervals I planned out.
Tell me what you think of this plan. Keep in mind the times are in min.
2:30 Yoga tree pose right leg
2:30 Squats
2:30 Crunches
2:30 Yoga warrior one right leg
2:30 Yoga tree pose left leg
2:30 Squats
2:30 Crunches
2:30 Yoga warrior one left leg
5:00, or more, Butterfly stretch
LOVE ALL,
Kaitlyn

Hi Kelli,
Welcome back, I can't really comment on your intervals, but it looks impressive, maybe more cardio in there would be wise.
I skipped spinning today but had a good long run, 45 minutes, 4.6 miles - not impressive speed, some of that was very fast, some slow, some hilly, some flat, but I kept moving. Some one has stolen all our oxygen here, the humidity is thick and demotivating.

I did my first boot camp class today, everything hurts! I worked it though, I am going back next week to do it again. It was pretty much intervals I guess? most of it fast enough to keep the heart rate pumping. Push up to burpees suck! But I did the whole hour and pushed myself to not being able to lift my arms for one more 'reverse table lift with arm raises'

From what we did I would suggest making the intervals shorter but repeating them and adding more movement that will keep your heart pumping. we did 12 exercises, 45 seconds for each one and we did that 3 times, increasing intensity each set.
some of the exercises where:
star jumps (a jump added in between each one 3rd set)
Bear crawls (downward dog yoga pose crawling forward a few steps hands and feet then back, reasonably fast)
push up to burpee (pretty much do a fast push up followed immediately by a burpee and back again... ouch! lol)
there were also more strength related ones that I am not sure how to explain but maybe the above will work for you? Our teacher said you should push yourself hard enough that it is hard work, but listen to your body. I got dizzy a few times and had to breathe for a while. I am not very fit but I will get there!

Sounds like an amazing class.
For me today was cut short by bad transportation, so my normal 35 minute run before boot camp was 10 minutes, since it was going to be short I really pushed the speed, and got in a mile in 7:30 – I did it by going up and down in the speed, very fast for a minute, then down to 7.2 MPH for 30 seconds, then up, it was fun.
Boot camp involved jump ropes, and I was pleased to keep one moving, lunges, squats, more lunges, push ups, plank, and the dreaded plank jack (oh yeah, burpees too!).
Have a great day!

1.Begin in a standing position.
2.Drop into a squat position with your hands on the ground. (count 1)
3.Extend your feet back in one quick motion to assume the front plank position. (count 2)
4.Return to the squat position in one quick motion. (count 3)
5.Jump straight into the air as high as possible. (count 4)
