I saw the tiniest little black Chihuahua get creamed by an SUV this morning and I can't stop thinking about it.
Such a bummer of way to start the day....

We rescued a kitten that was hit by a car about a month ago. Luckily for him only his front leg was broken.

Ya, that was a bad day, especially since I have 3 little doggies. I still haven't been able to drive down that section of road.
Pam- that's awesome you had rescued the the hurt kitty. Did you keep it or adopt it out?

Wellll, our initial plan was to foster him until we found a great new home. But he turned out to be such a purry, sweetheart that we can't bear to part with him. (DH says that he knew as soon as I named him - Horatio - that it was all over :D)
