Thats just to name a few great bands..

Or this electronic group called Designer Drugs..They are super intense and make me hyper usually

Here are some songs by Designer drugs.

YouTube - Thieves Like Us - Drugs In My Body (Designer Drugs Remix)

YouTube - Little Boots - Meddle (Designer Drugs Remix)

YouTube - Designer Drugs - Sex Up My Brain

YouTube - DESIGNER DRUGS - Through The Prism HD

YouTube - Jupiter One - Countdown (Designer Drugs Remix)

YouTube - Fake Shark Real Zombie - Designer Drugs (Designer Drugs Remix)

Well, basically anything they touch is amazing so I'd have to post every song if I wanted to show their best works but i think this is more then enough to get the point across.

I usually listen to Kamelot, Nightwish and Epica when I want to unwind. I just can't get amped up enough on their music to push through a hard training sesh.

If it's not 80s hard rock / hair metal, then for me it's Soilwork, In Flames, Arch Enemy, Scar Symmetry, etc. i.e. European prog death. Depending on my mood, sometimes Children of Bodom but they're usually more pain than they're worth.

If Justin Bieber starts playing at my gym, I literally just drop it and leave.

lol yea jb isn't my type of music either lol..

OMG I love in flames, and haven't even heard of Soilwork, or arch enemy. will check'em out. To unwind- i got to the polar opposite end of metal genres. Suicidal Depressive Black Metal = My medicine.

Here's a song I really love that is Suicidal Depressive Black Metal = YouTube - Forgotten Tomb - Springtime Depression

All about the mood.

Sooo... I saw Sucker Punch last night. Didn't love it, didn't hate it, but the soundtrack was amazing! Reminded me of when I first saw the Matrix -- lots of artists I'd kind of forgotten about and very high energy. I'll definitely be adding it to my workout play list!

Grooveshark - Listen to Free Music Online - Internet Radio - Free MP3 Streaming
Weights.

Cardio is not complete nor finished.
Music never effected my form while lifting one bit. On the other hand I have seen a LOT without headphones on that needed some serious help on form.

De gustibus non est disputandum.

Default 80's pop and metal

When I listen to music, I like stuff that I know all the words to so it takes my mind off of working out. For me, that means mostly stuff from the 80's like the hair and metal bands. Never Pink Floyd - way too mellow to workout with.

For running or biking, I often download books or podcasts to listen to. A good light fiction book that keeps me interested. I only use the earphone in one ear for safety reasons.

I also have seen some people hunching over when doing exercise but I always thought that even when they got off the equipment they did the same--music or no music . I must say that music is motivating on the standing equipment (ie elliptical, treadmill etc)--gotta get a good beat going. On days when I just didn't want to be there the music is what got me through and gave me the umph to do more I say if you like music then listen to music--it kinda gives a person and spring in their step

Ha! Doo Wop from the 1950s! (Hey, I'm 63.) Michael, I LOVE bagpipes. Sometimes I turn the TV to one of the music channels. The stuff I hear blaring from college kids' cars lately? Not so much. Reggae, yes.

Okay, now I'm OFFICIALLY old, since I don't even recognize 99% of the recording artists you guys listed. OTOH, I was in college in the 1960s, and it doesn't GET better than that.
