I'm a newbie too!
I'm new to this forum and today is day one to starting over again. I've used fit day before but have been on a roller coaster for 6 years. I'm working now to a healthier me.
I'm a 53 year old mother of 3 and grand mother of 3. I worked in an office environment for 30 years and then made a switch 2 years ago. Now I drive a concrete truck. It's still a lot of sitting but, there is some movement too.
I have 100lbs to lose but, for now, I'm concentrating on the first 60.
What I'm looking for here is motivational support and guidance. In 2006 I was diagnosed with type II diabetes. I constantly struggle with my blood sugar and would like to lower it permanently through diet and exercise.
Is there a group on this site for diabetics?
