Talking Looking for motivational buddy..

Good Morning!

I am trying this online diet and exercise program as I am notorious for starting "a diet" and sticking with it. One, I lose motivation but more importantly there are times in my life I don't know how to ask for help. I've had to deal with an abusive relationship (I'm now trying to get out of) and have a 4 year old with this same person.

My confidence is low, motivation really low, and I know hearing someone and helping someone everyday to motivate you as well...

I would like to hear from my motivational buddy at least every other day..knowing your progress and offering support, advice, and overall that cheerleader in your corner as we both struggle together to get fit and healthy!

Default 1st day using FTday online group

Hi, I am a Nurti System failure, well it worked two years ago and I lost 37 lbs only to change jobs. Which caused me to lose my hour work out in the middle of the day, added tons of stress and an extra hour to my commute. So I gained it all back. Now just hoping to lose around 30 lbs can't really afford to go the NS route again although it did work. I must learn to do this on my own and not wait on pre measured pre packaged food to arrive.

So here I am day one with this group, started my official diet on 1/5/13 down the first 2lbs. 28 more to go.

Hi there! FitDay can help you balance a meal plan just as well as a prepaid diet plan; it just takes practice. Have a look around the forums and join in anywhere. Feel free to ask any questions you have; we're looking forward to getting to know you. Check out the motivation and support section for the 7-day motivational thread...it's a great place for support.

Hello newlife2013,

If your interested in more a one on one support I would be willing to assist. Just drop me a message via fitday. This is my second time here. I gained my weight back after dealing with domestic violence. I'm starting fresh.

Thumbs up

Hello newlife2013

I'm new too and I'd be happy to do what I can to help you feel supported and motivated. You're so not alone on falling off of a diet plan . . . we all have. Just remember that every time you fall off the wagon . . . get up, dust yourself off and start again the next day. The difference is now when you stumble . . . we'll be here to help you up.
