Newbie going Primal
I've recently discovered the Primal way of eating and the author happened to recommend this website for tracking calorie, protein, fat and carbohydrate intake. It's really great. Only thing I can't seem to be able to do is get my weight goal saved. It doesn't seem to want to accept it? Other than that I'm really determined to change my eating habits. I only have around 15lbs to lose but my ultimate goal is to improve my moods, sleep, energy and general wellbeing.
I've always been very interested in nutrition and over the years i've read more and more about the havoc that sugar and gluten are wreaking on people's lives. I even saw a Dr Oz segment talking about dietary changes, specifically sugar and gluten, and Autism. Very interesting.
I'm living in Perth, Western Australia, I'm turning 40 this year and I have 4 children ranging in age from 2 - 9. I'm currently a stay at home mum, but once the youngest is at school I will hopefully be returning to work.
