Default Joining

Today is the day..You all know..First day of the rest of you life!

I want to join this forum but am not exactly sure if I just post or what. If someone helps me with tips on joining I would really appreciate it..

Everyone has there own SHOCKING weight number on the scale..Mine today is 161 How did I get to this?

My goal, and I need support is 140 by 12/3/12. My retirement date..

Help would be appreciated.

Hey, Joanne, good for you for taking the first step! As far as posting, we have a 7 day motivational thread down in the women only section, and we all do a pretty good job of keeping each other honest and, well, motivated. Feel free to join us if you would like some company

Thanks for the information on the motivational forum. I will look it up and hopefully not only get good at these forums but lose some pounds!

Jump right in! The water's fine and the company's even better.

Lots of people tend to "lurk" (reading posts without posting anything themselves) for a while before they join in. And that's just fine. There is ton of great advise, information and few laughs (it is, after all, the best medicine).
