Smile New From Florida

Hi there, Well like everyone I am fighting that battle of weight loss. Most of my life I have been big and like most i have been on one diet after another. In Jan I decided I was DONE being this size and the WEIGHT needed to go. I was also facing Surgery for Uterine Cancer. A radical Hysterectomy. I figured so much of my body was going to change that the WEIGHT had to change right along with it. I started out GREAT!! Dropped about 8 pounds before surgery (about 2 weeks) and then 12 pounds right after surgery. I was so Happy the first month 20 pounds!! February came and the roller coaster of Gain and lose started. Now I am into May and I have gained and loss the same 10 darn pounds. It is OFF now so I am going to FIGHT to keep it that way. I was on another site but it just is not Advanced enough for me. Very basic and their reports are not as great as they are on this site. However there Mobile app is better then this one...soooo I am going to give this site a fair chance. I have only found two things I don't like about it so far but today is only my first day. They are things I think I can work with. I might just hang on to the other site through Mobile and use this one online.

Anyway. I wanted to give everyone a Hello and hope that you all are doing well. Really could use some support and encouragement to keep going DOWN and NOT gain back this 10 pounds again. I would like the next 10 pounds I lose to be ACTUAL loss and not just a RE-Loss.

One thing to keep in mind is the power of walking. It’s hard to start walking (I hated it at first) but it does so much for a person if their mind is open to it. It takes 2-4 weeks of walking but then it kicks your metabolism into gear and helps you lose weight. It also starts to give you energy, helps with diabetes, blood pressure, cholesterol and helps with stress. It just does so much for you. The best part is you do it at your own pace.

Welcome to FitDay. Congrats on your loos, keep pushing and don't get discouraged when it slows down or if you have a bad week.
