Glad to see you've joined us. I think I'm the only other one on this thread. I am also a Brit but living in Texas and get very confused with stones, pounds and kilos....

That's not my excuse, I don't have one....
I started at 191lbs, (13.9) and am now 176lbs (12.8), so have lost just over a stone. I am 5'5" and the 191 put me into the 30+ bmi category which is what spurred me into action. I've set my goal on fitday at 150lbs (10.10) which is a weight I've not seen in 20 years, but is the top of the 'normal' bmi for my height. I may revise downwards from there - if I get there.
So far so good. I started almost 6 weeks ago on 20th Feb, so 15lbs in 6 weeks is pretty good going, although 6lbs of that was in the first week.
I am going to UK in about 6 weeks and we'll be seeing lots of people I haven't seen for a few years -that will push me into sticking with my diet - vanity
