I'm starting on FitDay today but I started the Paleo Diet this past Monday.
My husband, who is not overweight, started eating Paleo in August.
I started Atkins at the same time but got very discouraged when he lost weight and I only lost six pounds (with the expectation of much more since, you know, it's ATKINS!). So, I gave up through September and now I'm ready to do the Paleo thing.
So far, so good. It's easy, not as many choices as with most other diets (esp. snacking, which is one of my myriad downfalls), and it feels like it's a pretty "healthy" way to eat~I am able to feed my two children Paleo dinners so I don't have to worry about making two separate meals or being tempted by their pasta while I eat a dry piece of boneless, skinless, tasteless chicken! haha
My goals are: 20lbs for Christmas, 45lbs by my birthday in March, and 60lbs by the end of May 2012 (just in time for summer!).
