I just want to introduce myself and say hello :)
A girl at work told me about this community months, and I finally decided to check it out. I think this is great! I'm 27, from Ontario, Canada and ... I'm a procrastinator, I put everything off until the last minute, including taking care of my health. I can't do that do myself anymore, it ends today, I'm going to log on here every day and I'm going to lose weight and be a healthier person! I'm also going to take advantage of the forums for advice and support. So far today I'm happy with my calory balance, but I only just had lunch and I'm already at 91% of my recommended sodium! wow! |
Welcome aboard, this is a great site for support. I too am a procrastinator, good for you in not putting this off until you're 40 like I did.

I think you will find lots of eye opening experiences as you continue to log your foods and activities (I sure did! :eek:). One thing that can help is to just log your "regular" eating habits for a week or two before making any changes. That way you will get a better idea of what areas you need to work on. Most people find it easier to tackle one bad habit at a time rather than trying to completely overhaul the diet all at once. But everyone is different. We look forward to reading all about your progress. :) |
