Default Hi

Hi all

Just saying g'day. Am a 39 yr old male who needs to lose about 45 pounds. I've set everything up in fitday. I have 2 questions:

1) Once I've entered today's foods, is there some button which will allow me to copy those over to tomorrow and then edit as required, rather than re-entering everything each day?

2) In the Nutrition Budget area, the custom nutrition says "enter your desired maximum and minimum values for that nutrient, and FitDay will help you hit that goal". How exactly does it help me? I've entered the custom nutrition stuff, but I'm not seeing how it will "alert" me as to how many more protein grams I need, for instance, or if I've gone over the daily calorie allowance.

Thanks

Hi, and welcome to the forums!

To answer your questions:

1) Go to Recent Foods and scroll down to the bottom of the list. Choose "More Foods". It will give you a day-by-day list of every food you've logged. Simply click in the box by each entry and click "Add" at the bottom. They will all be entered in today's log, afterwhich you may adjust the quantities if you wish.

2) To the best of my knowledge, you must monitor the nutritional info yourself--there is no "alarm" or warning. It's more like the speedometer on your car, rather than the fuel gauge--you've gotta watch it youself instead of an idiot light coming on.

Regards,
Michael
