Wink Enough is enough!

Hi everyone,

I am 36 and finally had it with being overweight! I have been married for 13 years to a wonderful man and I have a 10 year old daughter and a 8 year old son. I need to lose 117 lbs. so far I am down 7 since the first of this year. My best friend told me about this site and I think it is just fantastic!! Here are the reasons I need to lose the weight for good:

#1 Be a great role model for my kids! My daughter especially loves sports and I want to be able to be out there on the court with her running and the soccer fields with her. But with this excess weight it is murder on my knees!!

#2 Not have to worry about health issues down the road. I have way to much to live for and I don't want to shorten my life span.

#3 Look good and sexy again for myself and my hubby

My current weight is 255 lbs. I want to be down 60lbs by October 1, 2011 for a mini vacation with just my hubby. My final goal weight is 145 lbs by April 1, 2012 (hopefully April fools day won't be a joke on me ) I know this website is going to help me achieve my goals!

Welcome to FitDay Jill. All of your reasons are great and your mini goal is reasonable. Just stick with it!

Hi Jill, I'm fairly new here myself, but it is a wonderful place for support, motivation and knowledge. You may want to check out the 100+ thread. Lots of good people there that understand what you are dealing with. Best of luck to you!

Enter all your stats, figure out the calorie deficit you need to maintain to reach your goal and go for it! If you have questions or need help, don't hesitate to ask.
