Default Hello From Karen

I am beginning the new year with a new attitude. I want to feel better and fit into my clothes again. I am hoping to meet new friends and give as well as receive advice and encouragement. I am trying to follow a meal plan that is said to be essential for a "High Oxidizer" and need to eat meals that are 50% protein, 30% fat and 20% carbohydrate. I am finding it difficult to get the percentages just right and need to find recipes that will help me obtain my goals. There are quite a few foods I cannot eat with this plan but there are many foods that I can eat. Are there any other High Oxidizers in this forum? Do you have recipes to share? Thanks and It's Great To Be Here!

I can't help you much with those ratios, you might want to check into the Atkins diet for help on that one. But all the same I wanted to welcome you to the forums and to wish you lots of luck in the new year.
