Hi all I am new here and I have been on my weight loss journey for a year now. I started of great last august after I had my 4th child. Then in october we lost my fil and in february we lost my mom so my weight started to get out of control and my eating has been horrible. I recently joined beachbody. So today I am starting over.

Fattie Finding Friends
I've decided to get serious about my health.
I'm in my mid-50's and I'm in near perfect health at this time, but know that it can't stay this way being over 100 pounds overweight. I'm pretty sure that's considered obese, right? Never thought of myself as such. But over the past few years I've become less active and love food more and more. It's gotta stop, lest I am the one stopped, if you know what I mean? I know you do.
I came across a book, Metabolism Advantage, and have been educating myself on how to rev up my body's fat burning engine. It also supports intensive workouts, correct eating times depending on when you workout.
I'm joining a gym for the first time, since the military, some 35 years ago. I plan on going slow but steady and not getting burn out.
