So I'm new here too and thought this would be a good way to keep me motivated. I have taken on the challenge of running a marathon in May!
A little bit about myself, I'm 22, British but live in the Netherlands, I work as an assistant chef part time and study chemistry and biology. My hobbies are football, snowboarding and martial arts (and of course running). I also like travelling and languages.
I've always been into sports, but since taking a medicine class, I was shocked into the harsh reality of what happens when you don't also eat healthy, so after running a 20km, decided to sign up for the marathon with a few friends. This site seems like a nice way to monitor what I'm eating... and will hopefully motivate me to not snack, especially when studying!
