Back after a binge day, don't even remember my goals, afraid to look... umm water, stretch, healthy eating right? don't be a baby, yeah I think it's coming back to me now...

funny my binge started with TERRIBLE movie popcorn. The popcorn fresh in a sprayed bag has to be better. The next day: pizza, sushi, noodles, and part of a chicken parm/ eggplant parm hero. Sorry for the food porn. I didn't fall off the wagon, I leapt. It was my rebellion. I am working with a healer who is trying to get my diet in line for feeling better. She's away and so when the cat goes on vacay the mouse goes to the pizza shop lol. 131.5 up about 3 pounds from my lowest so not too bad. Focus has been on health rather than weight lately.

Cannot get my shots til I get an MRI, waiting for my darling insurance co to approve. Did I mention it is a closed MRI? Did I mention I am claustrophobic? Ahahahahaha

Mike, thank you for sending out the large dancing banana. Great shot of the streetcar, very clear.

I had fiddleheads; DH mde them Asian, I think. Very cool. Green tea should be OK iced, no? I think you can mint ones...

lilbits, I like asparagas sprinkled with vinegar (balsamic, white wine, or rice wine vinegar). I like iced green tea plain, but I also like it with lemon and mint (both at the same time).

Mike - I don't know what the drops are, but I eat a very similar diet for lunch and dinner. My breakfast is usually one egg with vegetables (today it was kale, mushrooms, and onions) and a bit of cheese on top. My snacks vary a bit more (almonds, fruit, yogurt, boiled egg).

Donna - wow, 18 mos logging - that's impressive! I took a break after two months. I drink a lot of tea too. And good for you for turning down the Butterfinger! I know how hard it can be to refuse something like that - good for you!

Robin - can fiddleheads be eaten uncooked in salads? We do have a few fiddleheads around here, but I've never seen a patch of them.

Jenn- congrats on your 2 lb loss! I'm looking forward to summer to. I naturally eat less in the summer. I've always felt like my body wants to store fat when it's cold (and I eat more to help it along!)

Ian - 250 sit ups! You might not want to laugh tomorrow. (I once did too many one night, and boy, did I feel it the next day - it hurt to laugh.)

Hope - glad to see you back. Hope your insurance company moves fast. Re your terrible movie popcorn - I hate it when I binge or break my no sugar goal by eating something that's not worth it.

I made my first goal of 145 pounds (at least that's what the scale said this morning - I'll wait to change my signature until I see it confirmed tomorrow). I'll have to set a new goal. Maybe I'll go five pounds at a time. I don't have a particular weight in mind - I just don't want to be able to grab handfuls of fat at my waist and belly.

2. 30-min extra movement a day Y, Y, Y (swam again this a.m.)

Never! Something that can make you sick. They have to be cooked for at least ten minutes.

Thanks for rejoining us Hope, they can give you ativan for the MRI. It's not as bad as it sounds, they have these fancy mirrors in place for the claustrophobic amongst us.

For company, I brown the butter so it has that nice, nutty flavor and then add soy sauce and balsamic. It is so good, I could eat that all day on its own. (Ratio of about 2 tbs butter, 1 tsp soy sauce, 1 tbs balsamic)

Mayonnaise was my usual topping for asparagas (and broccoli, artichokes, and cauliflower), but since counting calories, I mostly cut out mayo and butter so I can have more calories elsewhere. I've grown to like vinegar on asparagas.

For a cauliflower topping, I've been using a bit of plain greek yogurt mixed with mustard (add mustard to taste) - sometiimes with some tarragon mixed in.
