Grand Canyon is mid-April - just a little over a month.

Yes, I'm procrastinating.

I was able to get in 17,764 steps yesterday. I got on the scale today (a day early) and thought the scale was off. It said 204.6. I was happy with it but didn't fell I did much special to drop that amount. I'll check again tomorrow and try not to look a gift horse in the mouth... what ever that means.
I havd looged food but not everything, so I'm going with a fat NO on that.

1) 12k steps per day: Yes NoYes
2) 100 oz of water daily:No No Yes No No
3) Log foods:Yes
4) 750 cal deficient per day:Yes Yes yes
5) Weigh in on Friday (goal on 205.4):
6) at least stay in zootnarf's shadow and not get left in her dust:No No
7) 3 servings of fruits or veggies per day:Yes No No

You get a "Yes" on this one for yesterday. You did more steps than I did.

This Week's Goals:
1) Calories under 1,400 (6 days): M-Yes (1,272), T-Yes (1,362), W-Yes (1,386)
2) 10,000 steps (7 days): M-YES! (22,604), T-Yes (20,765), W-Yes (16,619)
3) Log all food (7 days): M-Yes, T-Yes, W-Yes
4) Stairs (3 days): M-No, T-No, W-Yes
5) Strength band exercises (3 days): M-No, T-No, W-Yes

Wednesday was a big win for me on all goals. Not doing as many steps gave me more time (and energy) to do everything else. I have to remember my step goal is 10,000 - not to beat everyone else on our Fitbit challenge! It's hard to ignore my competitive side. She's feisty!

Welcome, Sureway! I fully approve of your fruit and veggie goal!

Hi Kathy, Mike, Zoot. Welcome Sureway.
I definitely need a non bulky Fitbit, nothing fancy, no bells and whistles. Then I need to ummm walk. Trouble is, due to health blah blah blah, I need to build up sloooooowly. I thought Fitbit might help.

It's helped me a lot. Otherwise I'd be stuck behind my desk all day.

I fully understand the competitive side. Bad thing for me is a long of times I'm an "all or nothing" type of guy, other times it's more like b@lls to the wall. So when things don't go well and I can't go all out.... then I slip way behind, I tend to get into the all or NOTHING mood. Fortunately I've been able to fight that and keep plugging away with my steps.

I'll have to update my goals to a "yes". Thanks.
