Beck home again! We've got a wedding to go to the last weekend in June and I really wanted to be able to wear the dress I wore to my reception almost 10 years ago. So I tried on the dress today. I can get it on--it's still a little tight in the bust but everywhere else fits very well! I'm so happy! I found several other outfits to try on tomorrow--if I can wear these, that means I won't have so much left to buy!

Trying real hard to stay on-track with good food choices! Reading all the comments and so glad for the Jump Start! Vicki

Hmmm... I got a surprise today. A friend urged me to try on a belt that I "knew" would not fit me. It fit!

As did a pair of pants that I set aside in my closet because I couldn't do them up.

So even without a scale, I can still lose weight.

Thanks, Mike! Hope things are going well for you .

Heya, Vicki! That wedding is a nice little incentive and the fact that the dress is just about where you want it gives you that extra little ummmmph! Good luck -- you got this!

Nice non-scale victory, Annette!

As for me, I'm back down in the new decade. Only by 1/4 pound, but I'll take it! Fingers crossed it lasts until Monday (my official weigh-in day) and maybe even dips a bit lower.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
SUNDAY NIGHT EDIT: Given that no one has posted since my last post, I'll just update this one for today's activity. This will close out the week for me. I really hope we see a bit more activity next week. It's really lonely here .
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

My Strategy for the Week (May 18 - May 24):
  • 7-day Rolling Average calories = 1400-1450: 945, 1031, 1139, 1138, 1203, 1287, 1338
  • 7-day Rolling Average water/tea, minimum 2500mL (10+ 8oz glasses): 3270, 3405, 3469, 3397, 3326, 3461, 3389
  • 7-day Rolling Average sodium = 1000-1400: 1235, 1377, 1343, 1255, 1333, 1372, 1371
  • 7-day Rolling Average sat fat = under 18g: 12, 12, 13, 12, 13, 14, 16
  • Macro -- 7-day Rolling Average Fats = 50-60g: 41, 43, 46, 46, 49, 52, 55
  • Macro -- 7-day Rolling Average Carbs = 125-135g: 85, 101, 111, 114, 126, 132, 129
  • Macro -- 7-day Rolling Average Protein = 100-110: 71, 75, 87, 86, 88, 96, 104
  • Macro -- 7-day Rolling Average Fiber = 35-45g: 11, 16, 21, 25, 30, 32, 32
  • Explore! Try something new or do some nutrition-related research at least 2 times:
    • Monday: Did you know how good cinnamon is for us? It has all sorts of health benes. I have applesauce (natural, no sugar added) at least 4 times a week and always doctor it up with some cinnamon. Nice to know the cinnamon offers more than just good taste! And no, I never did the Cinnamon Challenge .
    • Saturday: Finally got up the nerve to try the corn/bran/protein muffin made a few weeks ago. It was divine... well close to divine. I could taste a hint of the vanilla flavoring, which wasn't bad, but didn't mesh well with the other flavors. Next time, I'll get/use unflavored protein powder. Overall, though, we may have a winner here to help boost protein!
