I DID IT!!!
Dropped into the next decade!!!
I call every 10-pound increment a "decade" (the 50s, the 60s, the 70s and so forth). As of this morning, I am 1/2 pound into the next decade. Will it last? Probably not, at least not in the short term. I'm a daily weigher and understand that weight fluctuates, so I'll probably bounce back up tomorrow. But what a rush is it to have FINALLY touched this decade!
It's someplace I haven't been in, well, in a couple of decades!

I just checked; I entered the last decade on January 5. Five months (and a half) months ago. Five (and a half) months to lose 10 pounds. At this rate, I won't see the next decade until November 1st (give or take a few).
Meanwhile, next big milestone will be to get that BMI into the 27s. I only need 1 more pound to do that. Hopefully it'll happen in the next month or so .
Man, am I slow !

Still waiting on van repairs. I had the raisin bran for breakfast again. Followed up with yogurt.
I spent lunch time at the mechanic, so I quickly had another yogurt and some dry whole grain bread.
I walked over to the coin laundry and back again. Everything in this town is within walking distance. Heading to the hardware store to buy a plate and then I need to find a decent restaurant. I'll ask at the desk about the healthiest place to eat.

Thanks, Kathy! It sure does -- I'm still floating this evening, just knowing that it CAN be done -- that I CAN enter this new decade .

My Strategy for the Week (May 18 - May 24):
Speaking of work, I did some serious spring cleaning on Sunday. Up and down the stairs too many times to count. Lugging stuff, scrubbing stuff, reaching, pulling, moving things to and fro. My legs, butt and back are still yelling at me, two days later .
Sadly, that was just the upstairs -- I haven't even touched the first floor !

- 7-day Rolling Average sodium = 1000-1400: 1235, 1377
- 7-day Rolling Average sat fat = under 18g: 12, 12
- Macro -- 7-day Rolling Average Fats = 50-60g: 41, 43

Hi Everyone!!!
Just dropping in to sway hi.
Hello, Bea. Yes, the dress IS gorgeous. Classic. And I agree hair up.
Epixi, way to go into the next decade!!!
Annette, I hope your van is fixed pronto. Your food choices sounded good.
Libby, I don't fit into my summer clothes either, even my big ones. Jump start needed but I can't seem to muster up the energy...
I started a new job with an art history society, pretty excited, just very tired. And I have been eating like crazy. I call it eating my fatigue. You know that old adage; NEVER HALT: never get too hungry, angry, lonely tired.
Yeah, true dat.
Speaking of which, time to go get ready to sleep.

- Monday: Did you know how good cinnamon is for us? It has all sorts of health benes. I have applesauce (natural, no sugar added) at least 4 times a week and always doctor it up with some cinnamon. Nice to know the cinnamon offers more than just good taste! And no, I never did the Cinnamon Challenge .

Hi all. The site is playing the log off game again. Makes me mad.
I have done better in the last few days and the week end is quickly approaching. I hope to make it through to Monday in a new Decade 180's even if it's 189.9. I am back to no evening snacking and eating breakfast soon after I get up and it is helping me. HALT is a good thing to remember.

Fingers crossed, you'll hit that new decade. Yep, 189.9 counts! Hey, even 189.999 counts!
As for me, my dalliance with the new decade has come to a swift end. I went back to the past this morning. But only by 1/2 pound, so I'm not gousing. Much. Out-loud... Mondays are my official weigh-in day, so, fingers crossed, I'll be back into the new decade by then. Even if it is only .0001 pound in. Every ounce counts!
