Beck home again! We've got a wedding to go to the last weekend in June and I really wanted to be able to wear the dress I wore to my reception almost 10 years ago. So I tried on the dress today. I can get it on--it's still a little tight in the bust but everywhere else fits very well! I'm so happy! I found several other outfits to try on tomorrow--if I can wear these, that means I won't have so much left to buy!
Trying real hard to stay on-track with good food choices! Reading all the comments and so glad for the Jump Start! Vicki

Hmmm... I got a surprise today. A friend urged me to try on a belt that I "knew" would not fit me. It fit!
As did a pair of pants that I set aside in my closet because I couldn't do them up.
So even without a scale, I can still lose weight.

Thanks, Mike! Hope things are going well for you .
Heya, Vicki! That wedding is a nice little incentive and the fact that the dress is just about where you want it gives you that extra little ummmmph! Good luck -- you got this!
Nice non-scale victory, Annette!
As for me, I'm back down in the new decade. Only by 1/4 pound, but I'll take it! Fingers crossed it lasts until Monday (my official weigh-in day) and maybe even dips a bit lower.

SUNDAY NIGHT EDIT: Given that no one has posted since my last post, I'll just update this one for today's activity. This will close out the week for me. I really hope we see a bit more activity next week. It's really lonely here .

My Strategy for the Week (May 18 - May 24):
- 7-day Rolling Average calories = 1400-1450: 945, 1031, 1139, 1138, 1203, 1287, 1338

- Explore! Try something new or do some nutrition-related research at least 2 times:
- Monday: Did you know how good cinnamon is for us? It has all sorts of health benes. I have applesauce (natural, no sugar added) at least 4 times a week and always doctor it up with some cinnamon. Nice to know the cinnamon offers more than just good taste! And no, I never did the Cinnamon Challenge .
- Saturday: Finally got up the nerve to try the corn/bran/protein muffin made a few weeks ago. It was divine... well close to divine. I could taste a hint of the vanilla flavoring, which wasn't bad, but didn't mesh well with the other flavors. Next time, I'll get/use unflavored protein powder. Overall, though, we may have a winner here to help boost protein!
