Distance challenge
#43
I've been slacking on exercise the past two weeks, but happy to say that...even witht eh time change...I managed to squeeze in 30 minutes on the elliptical this morning before work. This brings my total to 63.7 completed and 86.3 to go!

Mar 9 -50 minute upper body strength (2.5)
Mar 9 -20 minute HIIT skipping workout (2)
Mar 10 -30 minute elliptical (3)
I'm going to count half the time for the strength workouts since I burn about half the calories I would in a cardio workout. All combined that brings my total up to 71.2 with 78.8 left.

Wednesday - 2.6 miles
total 22.6
That completed eight days at the farm. We haven't even gotten to the halfway point. Ten days left including today.
Then on the day after I am done on the farm, I am going to an all day event outdoors. I will be traipsing through farmers fields. Not sure how to measure distance on that day. Oh wait, I can use google maps satellite view to estimate the property size and keep mental track of how far I go.

Mar 12 -30 minute Upper Body HIIT (3)
total 86.2 with 63.8 left
Annette - An awesome website for tracking distance is gmaps. Where it says 'Jump to' type in the nearest address and then zoom into the fields you'll be trekking through. The where it says 'Draw route' select the 'manually' button and you can draw out your route. If you're waling on roads, you can use the 'automatically' button and it will trace along the roads. Pretty handy site!
